Reading Foundations: Intermediate 2 prepares students for advanced secondary and pre-university reading by developing critical comprehension, analytical thinking, and evidence-based interpretation skills. Students learn to engage with increasingly sophisticated fiction, non-fiction, and informational texts while evaluating arguments, identifying bias, comparing perspectives, and synthesizing information. Through guided reading experiences, independent reading, and teacher feedback, students become confident readers capable of navigating complex academic texts.
